As the rules of the game change, one must adapt in order to thrive! With the move to Division 1 and changes with the NCAA’s amateurism policy regarding Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), the Laker Athletic Alliance has been created as a new building block that will allow Mercyhurst to remain competitive at this new level of competition.
The LAA is founded by proud alumni with the intent to attract and retain talented players, build a strong alumni network for the mutual benefit of current and past players, and continue to provide good experiences for student-athletes and their families during their tenure at the Hurst.
